Serve Fest

Join us for Serve Fest!

What would it look like if Christians gathered together from Shippensburg to Boiling Springs to serve their communities in the name of Jesus? Just imagine brothers and sisters from different churches and denominations, working side by side showing Jesus to one another and to those we serve. Imagine no more! This summer, July 19-22, Serve Fest ’17 is going to do just this! We are looking for churches, youth groups, young adult ministries, families and individuals to join the effort and get involved. Involvement can be for one day or the entire event. We invite you to spread the word, attend one of our upcoming meetings and invite others to join this group to make a difference in our communities!

Serve Fest is a multi-denominational service outreach to those in need throughout western Cumberland County! You can serve as an individual, as a family, as a ministry team (Sunday School class, youth ministry, young adult ministry, Women or Men’s ministry) or as a church. You can participate in as much or as little of the 4 days as you’d like.

What Types of Community Service Happen During Serve Fest

Service will include painting, yard work, light construction, baking, visitation, kids camp, prayer, food preparation, and help with worship.

What Kinds of Accommodations Are Available During Serve Fest

We will have accommodations for camping and also rooms available for lodging inside. Meals and lodging are provided. Breakfast will be served at 8 AM and work crews will be heading to their job site by 9 AM.  Each worker will pack a lunch to take with them to the work site.  Depending on the project, teams will work at their worksite until about 3 or 4 PM.  Dinner will be served around 5:30 followed by an evening worship service at 7 PM.
