Children & Young Families
St. Paul’s Youth and Family Ministry program offers four different programs for young people in Carlisle: an Elementary program (Kindergarten – 5th grade), a Middle School program (6th – 8th grade), a High School program (9th – 12th grade), and a College program. Our groups focus on developing the whole person physically, mentally, emotionally, academically, and spiritually. If you or your child are interested in participating in one of our groups, please contact us. We would love to have you join us!
Youth
B.O.L.D. is our middle school youth program geared toward our sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in Carlisle and meets every first and third Sunday afternoon from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm in the lower level Youth Rooms.. And our high school program for students in grades 9-12 meets every second and fourth Sunday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 pm in the lower level Youth Rooms. We prepare our youth for the transition from high school to college
College
Our college program is the newest group that was established to meet the spiritual needs of young adults attending college. This group focuses on the faith formation of college students through discussions and relation to daily life.
Young Adults
The ELCA is expanding its vision of what it means to be church and what it means to engage a population of young adults who are seeking authentic community and opportunities to serve their neighbors. In addition to this vision, it is the church’s role to establish an organic faith based relationship with it’s disciples at all points of life, from high school graduation on through to marriage and the potential of a growing a family. We at St. Paul offer support at all levels, facilitating relationships and guidance for those on their journeys throughout life – no matter what point they are at.
Young adults and young families are an integral component of every church. St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carlisle’s vision is to nurture faith filled community among this group of people as well as provide opportunities for serving in the church, in the community, and in the world. St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carlisle offers a wide variety of groups, ministries, programs, and classes for adults and seniors including church choir, prayer shawl ministry, spiritual support groups, weekly game days, and bible study programs..
