Sunday School for Kids in Carlisle, PA
For children in Kindergarten or Grades 1 – 5, we offer a Sunday School program every Sunday from 9:30 – 10:30 in the Sunday School Room. During this hour, the children learn about God through stories and hands-on activities. On some Sundays, the children share snacks together with their friends. Children in the Elementary Program also have the opportunity to participate in our Children’s Choir. During a few special church holidays and Sundays (like Youth Sunday), the children share their voices and musical talents with the congregation during the service.
Starting September 10th, St. Paul will be kicking off their year long children’s Sunday School program. Join the children’s Sunday School program on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. Children’s Sunday School is for ages 2 through 5th grade and located in Room 213. You can learn more about the curriculum and find resources you can use at home by checking out Deep Blue.
*Do you have a tween who might be interested in joining us? If so, let us know. We are trying a new tween curriculum called ‘Submerge’. Our tweens will serve as helpers with the younger children and get some time for their own studies with the Submerge curriculum.
On Saturdays at St. Paul, we open our youth spaces to the community of Carlisle for children between the ages of 7 – 13. The space serves as a free play space where kids are able to come and hang out, have a free lunch, and play all kinds of games – video games, pool, ping ping, air hockey, etc (we also have a modified movie theatre space and an art room).
Laura Guenther, a 2nd grad teacher at Bellaire Elementary, leads this program and interacts and personally knows many of the kids that attend. Her reputation as a favorite teacher among many of these kids is very strong and they have a high level of respect for her. She is there to establish a connection between the youth so that we as church family and community service connection further develop bonds of faith and community between children ad our leaders in the Carlisle community.
Prayerfully consider joining us when you can on a Saturday. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out anytime!
